The following figures show the number of appointments not attended at the Surgery over a period of 1 month to 12 months’ time.

1 month DNA – 401
3 months 914
6 months 1395
12 months 1906

The surgery is reviewing the policy on all none attended appointments (DNA) we will be monitoring this closely with the GP’s. We will now be sending out formal letters to all patients who do not attend their appointments as shown below:

• 1 DNA: - A letter to be sent to the patient advising to cancel any unwanted appointments in future
• 2 DNA: - A formal warning letter
• 3 DNA: - A final warning letter

3 or more DNA’s the patient will be discussed with the GP and depending on circumstances/Evidence the patient may be asked to register with another GP and will be removed from our patient list.
