All our patients have a right to have a chaperone in any consultation if this be with the GP or Nurse, please speak to the reception staff if this is something you would like.
All of our patients have the right to speak to the reception staff in a private room to discuss any personal matters without having to speak in the reception waiting area, please speak to a member of staff if this something you would like to do.
All of our patients have a right to have access to their medical records in line with our Data Protection Policy. Please speak to a member of staff who will be able to help you this.
It is the patients responsibility to arrange all appointments and attend appointments. We are very grateful if your appointment is no longer needed that you contact the surgery via telephone or send a text back from your appointment reminder to cancel all unwanted appointment. We have around 20 not attended appointment per week which could be re-allocated to someone else.
You are only allowed 10 minutes after your appointment time if you are over this time you WILL be advised to arrange another appointment and will not be seen.
We allocate 1 10 minute appointments with the GP this is for one problem only if you have more than 1 problem to discuss please speak to the reception team when booking the appointment that you require a double appointment slot.
We as surgery staff have the right to work without abuse if this be verbal or physical. Please respect our staff and note that we are a none tolerance surgery.
If you are abusive or threatening to any staff member you will be removed from the surgery list and asked to find a new GP.
You as the patient have the right to express a preference of practitioner although this may not always be possible we will try our best to accommodate you on this request.
