0-18 Years Online Resource

Supporting families and reducing pressure on services

The NHS Black Country 0-18 years website is a powerful resource designed to help parents and carers manage common childhood illnesses – from coughs and colds to rashes and asthma – with confidence and clarity.

Using a simple traffic light system, the site guides families on:

🟢 When it's safe to manage at home
🟡 When to monitor and seek advice
🔴 When to act quickly and get urgent help.

This evidence-based tool empowers families to make informed decisions, reduces unnecessary GP and A&E visits, and supports better outcomes across our communities.

Explore the website here: www.blackcountry0-18.nhs.uk
